Product of the Year – Again!

by | Jan 13, 2017 | Past News

Our Apollo ILS/LSP has been ranked by users as the Product of the Year – AGAIN! For the 2017 awards, Apollo topped 60 other automation and other products in the Modern Library Awards by LibraryWorks, Inc. LibraryWorks created these MLA awards to recognize the top products in the library industry in a truly unbiased format. See the exciting full results here.

Candidate products were submitted in fall 2016 and were posted on a private site with descriptions and attendant materials. For judging, the link was sent to the LibraryWorks database of more than 80,000 librarians. Only customers experienced with nominated products were permitted to judge the products. Each judge scored the product on a numeric basis from 1-10 on a series of questions regarding functionality, value, customer service, etc. Apollo excelled with a 9.5 score!

Of the array of awards, which includes honorable mentions, silver, gold, and platinum award levels, Apollo received the top award of all: Product of the Year, besting all 60+ contenders. This is Apollo’s second consecutive year with the Product of the Year award.

“Repeating this top award is at once humbling and thrilling. We deeply appreciate our customers’ enthusiastic approval. We will strive to extend that approval by continuing to share in their experiences and needs,” said Clark Charbonnet, founder and principal of Biblionix. “Our company’s commitment is solely to public libraries. This singular focus and Apollo’s design as an LSP makes for an elegant, easy-to-use product that delights today’s public libraries. This recognition inspires us anew to constantly innovate and deliver a superior service to delight our customers.”
